I bought this for my grandson who is a big Bob the Builder fan. Yes, it has been well played with but in a week the brown spray-on plastic of Bob's shoes started to split. We managed to remove all the brown plastic and now our Bob has white shoes. In this case Bob couldn't fix it, but granda did.
